What is Utility Warehouse?

Simply put, Utility Warehouse is a multi-award winning utility services supplier with over 600,000 customers. The services they are most well-known for include gas, electricity, broadband and mobile phone. Home and boiler insurance have recently been added to their services.

What’s unique about this is that no other company in the UK offers these services combined in the same way. Therefore, you could have several bills with one company on a single bill each month.

There are additional offers, discounts and rewards for customers on top of this, such as the cashback card.

What will I be doing as a Utility Warehouse Partner/Distributor?

As a partner, your aim is to help people save money on a range of their outgoing bills by signing them up as a customer. You can find out if they will save money by providing quick quotes and comparing them to their current bills.

Those who take both gas and electricity could potentially benefit from Utility Warehouse’s ‘Double The Difference’ offer. Simply put, if they don’t save money overall compared to their current supplier, Utility Warehouse may give back ‘double the difference’.

Utility Warehouse also offers award-winning customer service, meaning you aren’t just attracting customers through the possibility of saving them money.

You will also be helping people boost or replace their current income by signing them up as a partner. They will be able to do what you’re currently thinking about doing.

What's the difference between being a Partner and Distributor?

There is no difference. The official title is Partner, but people often use the term Distributor.

I wanted to include both terms on here to avoid confusion.

How do I become a Partner/Distributor?

To sign up as a Utility Warehouse partner, there is a registration fee of £50 if you are an existing customer. It is £100 if you aren’t a customer.

Before jumping to any conclusions, there is a reason behind this. The fee covers your ongoing training, which includes mandatory basic training and optional courses (both in-person and online) afterwards. You also receive a fully-maintained website and ongoing support.

On top of this, you will also get early guidance and ongoing support from the person who signed you up. Often, they will also help you to receive support from the other partners they’ve signed up.

If you sign up as a partner through me, I will provide you with access to one of the largest and most successful Utility Warehouse partner networks. This includes literally thousands of partners.

Will I get my money back if this isn’t for me?


If you’ve completed your mandatory online and classroom basic training and been a partner for 90 days (to give it a chance to see if this really is for you), your registration fee will automatically be refunded to the bank account you used to pay the fee.

Is there a fee for becoming a Partner/Distributor?

There is a registration fee of £50 if you already are a Utility Warehouse customer. It’s £100 if you aren’t a customer.

Is Utility Warehouse a Pyramid Scheme?

The short answer: No.

The long answer: Pyramid schemes use an illegal business model. The only way to generate a worthwhile income requires participants to recruit people, rather than sell a product or service. With Utility Warehouse, you are dealing with services (rather than a product) that people pretty much have to have in their lives – gas and electricity being the most obvious ones.

Partners also aren’t required to focus on signing up new partners in order to make money. As an example, I have personally known partners to earn over £12,000 in a single month just from signing up new customers.

Is Utility Warehouse a Pyramid Scheme?

Is Utility Warehouse a Ponzi Scheme?

No, this isn’t a Ponzi Scheme.

A Ponzi Scheme relies on a constant income of investors to pay money that is then used to pay back previous investors.

Whilst you do pay a £50 signing up fee (£100 if you’re not a Utility Warehouse customer) to become a partner, this covers your basic and ongoing training as well as a fully-maintained website and additional support.

What training/support is involved for a new Partner/Distributor?

When you first join Utility Warehouse as a partner, there is a mandatory basic training session for you to attend in-person and mandatory online basic training. After that, you have regular opportunities to join in with online webinars and in-person training sessions.

Actually, quite a lot of experienced partners will attend the basic training sessions from time-to-time in order to refresh themselves and brush up on a few basics.

On top of this, you will also get early guidance and ongoing support from whoever signed you up. Whenever I personally sign up a new partner, I also provide them with access to one of the largest and most successful Utility Warehouse partner networks, consisting of literally thousands of people.

How do I earn as a Partner/Distributor?

There are two ways you can earn:

The first is through signing up customers. With each customer you sign up, you can earn up to £300 through the Quick Income Plan (QUIP) on top of a signing up reward of up to £50 per customer.

You may have also heard about a passive income before. This comes from a percentage of your customer’s bill every month. As long as they are a customer, you will keep earning.

The second way is through signing up new partners. You don’t actually earn from signing up the partner. Instead, you actually earn each time they sign up a new customer. This works out to be roughly £0.30 per month for each customer they sign up and really adds up as you grow your team.

This actually helps to encourage partners to help people in their network. The more they earn, the more you earn as well.

How much can I expect to earn and how soon?

That really depends on the number of hours and amount of effort you put into being a partner.

With the Quick Income Plan (QUIP), you have the opportunity to make a quick £300 for each customer you sign up, as well as up to £50 reward on top of that each time.

Thanks to QUIP, I have seen some Utility Warehouse partners go from being a new partner to having it replace their day job within a matter of months. It is possible, but this isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. You are responsible for your earnings.

If you’re looking for some actual numbers, I know of partners that have earned over £12,000 in a single month from just signing up customers alone.

What is QUIP (Quick Income Plan)?

After much discussion amongst partners, Utility Warehouse now allows partners to essentially take advance payment on their commission from customers they’ve signed up.

The QUIP reward can be up to £300 per customer, which is calculated from the number of qualifying customers you sign up during that month. This allows new distributors to earn good money very quickly, rather than waiting for the passive income to build up.

Is there a guarantee that I will get rich from this?

Absolutely not! But it is possible.

I’m here to be honest with you and I will tell you right now that how rich you get from being a Utility Warehouse partner entirely depends upon how many hours and how much effort you put into being a partner.

I have come across many get-rich-quick schemes that guarantee thousands, or even millions, without you having to lift a finger. This isn’t one of those schemes, this is a genuine opportunity.

Are there additional rewards for Partners/Distributors?

Oh yes, there are a fair few!

One of the most frequently discussed is receiving a brand new Mini ONE. The monthly payments can be as low as £0. The car comes with Utility Warehouse branding, which actually helps you attract new customers. I have personally experienced members of the public approaching me after noticing the car to inquire about becoming a customer or partner.

Another reward you can receive is free use of a Porsche for one month – All you need to pay for is the petrol!

Being the family man that I am, the holidays are the rewards that mean to most to me. The opportunities include weekend breaks in sought-after European destinations such as Paris and Budapest.

On top of that, there’s the ‘Holiday of a Lifetime’ offer. These have included India, Florida, luxury 6-star cruises, European ski trips and more.

How will I get my first customers?

Generally speaking, new partners are encouraged to speak to their closest friends and family members first. This creates a low-pressure, friendly environment where you can get yourself used to the signing up process.

How will I find future customers beyond my close friends/family?

Partners are always encouraged to ask for referrals when signing up a new customer or talking to a potential customer. Just ask if they know somebody who’d like to potentially save money on their energy bills or earn a little extra money on the side.

Chances are, they will know at least one person. Very often, I’ll get given most of that person’s address book! After all, we’re human and it’s in our nature to help each other.
